Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data SMProxies collects when you use smproxies.com, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We keep data collection deliberately minimal and we do not log the traffic that passes through your proxies. Last updated: June 2026.
Who we are and what this covers
Who we are
SMProxies ("we", "us") operates smproxies.com and provides Polish mobile proxies for social-media account management. We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This policy applies to the smproxies.com website, dashboard and proxy service.
What data we collect
We collect only what we need to run the service. When you create an account we store your email address and a hashed password — we never keep your password in readable form. If you place an order, billing is handled by third-party payment processors; we receive confirmation of payment and basic invoice details but do not store full card numbers on our systems.
To operate and secure the service we keep minimal technical logs, such as authentication events, session timestamps and aggregate usage counters tied to your account. We do not log the content, destinations or payloads of the proxy traffic you route through us. Your browsing and automation activity over the proxy is yours.
Why we use it
We use your data to create and secure your account, to provision and bill for proxies, to prevent abuse and fraud, to provide support, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.
Legal bases for processing
Our lawful grounds
Under the GDPR we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract to provide the proxy service and manage your account; legitimate interests to keep the service secure, prevent abuse and improve reliability; legal obligation to retain billing and tax records; and consent where it is specifically requested, which you may withdraw at any time.
Cookies
We use only essential and session cookies needed to keep you logged in and to keep the dashboard working. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because these cookies are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have requested, they do not require separate consent.
Who we share data with
Processors, never sale
We share data only with the processors required to run the service — for example our payment processors and hosting/infrastructure providers — and only to the extent they need it to perform their function on our behalf. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We may disclose data where we are legally required to do so.
Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Billing and invoice records are retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law. Technical logs are kept only for a short window needed for security and troubleshooting, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Rights, security and contact
Your rights
Subject to applicable law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to request its deletion, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Security
We protect your data with industry-standard measures: passwords are stored hashed, traffic to the dashboard is encrypted in transit, and access to systems is restricted on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep the risk low and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
Contact
To exercise any of these rights or ask a question about this policy, reach us through in-app support from your dashboard. You can also review our Terms of Service.
